<p>Captain Dave has over 25 years of boating experience both coastal and on inland lakes. He is rated as a U.S. Coast Guard Master Captain [Near Coastal] with towing endorcement for vessels up to 100 tons. He is a member of the Charter Boat Captains Association and C-Port which is a Towing Association. Cap'n Dave is a retired member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and carries Coast Guard qualifications in Operations, Search and Rescue, Towing, Communications, and Patrols.  The Captains experience is above reproach and always maintains safety for his passangers as his number one concern.  The Cap'n enjoys hosting people on his vessels and like to be sure that they have a good and memorable time.</p>

<p>Captain Laura has 20 years of on the water operations. Like Captain Dave, she is qualified as a Master Captain [near coastal] with towing endorecement. Reciently retired from the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary she too was qualified as a Coxwain, and Search and Rescue, Patrols, Communicaitons and weather specialities.  Cap'n Laura is the operations manager for Cap'n Dave's Marine Services and oversees the charter boat side and manages the office. She enjoys meeting and interacting with our customers and ensures that they are well taken care of and all their concerns are met.</p>

<p>First Mate Dave, is Cap'n Daves son and helps out the Captains by crewing on their Charters and runs the tow boat. David has a good 10 years on the water and is an expert on Lake Whitney.  He is the one that keeps the vessels clean and in good operational order.  He's there with you to point out interesting things on the lake and to be sure you have all your needs are met during you charter.</p>

<p>Dina knows how to run a charter and provides all you need when you need it. She is very adapt and assists in scheduling our cruises and assists the Captains as required. Dina will ensure that all charter members are well taken care of.  Dina also works the office when not on the boats.  Be sure to call her if you need any assistance.</p>

<p>Ms Theresa is the one when it comes to entertainment. She is a wonderful hostess and coordinates the charters to be sure the proper drinks and foods are on board. She is usually on board and ensures ALL have fun and enjoy their cruise.  She is one of our bikini gals for the adults only cruises</p>

<p>Amy is a 20 year old local Whitney gal that loves the water and sun. A recent graduate from Whitney High School, she plans on starting college this fall at Hill County and want to become a paramedic. <p>Tom has been diving for over 20 years and have seen many changes in the commercial and sport diving industry. He has worked on salvage   operations ranging from barge recovery's, bridge sections and all types and sizes of boats in both salt and fresh water . Tom started his diving career while in the military and truly love both the commercial and sport diving business. Tom stresses safety in every operation whether it's a small vessel in shallow water or something much more complex. He is PADI dive master and NAUI scuba instructor. He also specializes in teaching Advanced Diving and Advanced Rescue Dive classes. Tom always strives to improve his diving skills and   techniques on each and every operation. He believes that striving for constant mprovement in yourself makes for a more effective and safer diver whether it's in commercial or sport diving.

We offer sunup, day, sunset and evening cruises to meet your every need. Need food and beverages? No problem, from inclusive lunches to top notch dinners — Leave everything to us! All you have to worry about is what time to get here! </p>
        <p>Have private or group outing needs, we can arrange just about any type outing you want from day time private outings to intimate evening cruises for up to four with dinner on our 28 ft Sea Ray cabin cruiser. Our new Beach Cat T boat holds up to 20 people and can accommodate day time sightseeing, dive boat operations, group organization outings, private family outings to Adult PARTY groups. By using our charter services you can better enjoy your outing without the responsibilities of having to run your own boat, rent a boat that may not meet your needs, are expensive to rent, or to worry about having a few drinks and operating a boat.         <p>Though you are not required to wear a life jacket while aboard, if you cannot swim or have problems with standard sized life jackets, we advise that you bring one that is fitted to your dimensions. Our vessels are equipped with the standard, U.S. Coast Guard approved Adult, and Child life jackets. </p>

        <p>If there are experienced powerboat owners who just purchased a larger power boat or who is changing boat designs, they can also benefit from a few hours of powerboat training bringing their skill level up to the demands required to safely handle a new powerboat.</p>
        
		<p>Last, a class for the spouse or friend who wants to learn to operate the boat to make your family boating activities or cruises more enjoyable for everyone in the family. We maintain an extremely low student to instructor ratio in order to focus on the skill levels of each student.</p>

The Laura Jeanne is a  27 Foot, 9' 2" wide 1999 Sea Ray 270. She is powered by 454 Cubic Inch engine and a seperate 5KW 115VAC Generator set. She comes with a complete galley, Stove, sink, microwave, refrigerator,  and Head with a shower.  The boat is air conditioned and heated for your comfort and comes with two births, kitchen table and front table. Outside there is plenty of room for a party of 4-5 with no problem.  Topside includes a table and lounge seating.   You can sun on the bow  during the day.   Evening? hors d'oeuvres and drinks with your friends or a romantic dinner for two are always available.</p></blockqoute></p>

This is our newest additon to the Cap'n fleet. This boat is manfactured by Beach Cat and is 30 foot long and holds up to 20 people.  It's powered by a 200HP Mercruiser outboard and can do about 25 MPH. This boat is used for larger groups and can be chartered privately or shared with others.  During different seasons this boat is used for tours up the Brazos for Eagle watching and photo runs.  The boat has two seperate tops to keep the sun off and plenty of space for all.  We charter her for 2, 4, and 8 hour chartes, and depending on your needs can supply on board lunchs or arrange a catered lunch on the beach.  If you want to party, we supply the set ups but the liquer is BYOB pls.  So leave the driving to us and have fun with friends or family without the hastles or the possibility of trouble with law enforcement.</p>

The Challenger is our fast response tow vessel.  She is a 25.5 ft Prusuit with twin 150 HP Yahama engines and rigged for emergency towing and salvage situations.  She can run up to 50 MPH if needed to get to a vessel in distress. Her electronics are state of the art and can find a needle in a haystach if needed.  She is used to provide towing assistance, fuel delivery, battery jump starts, dewatering and minor repair. Need a ferry ride? She is avalible for that and fast runs if someone wants to go fast.</p>

The Little One is our backup tow and fuel delivery vessel. You would be suprised  what she can do with 105 HP engine and will ride four persons.  She is actually a small boat almost 4 Ft wide and 13 feet long. She is great when we know we have to get a boat out of a stump field or for towing of light weight vessels.</p>

THE CAPTAIN'S RULES / POLICIES

        <p>The Captain is Always right !</p>
            <p>Guests are welcome to bring soft drinks with them. Alcoholic beverages are also permitted, but drunkenness is not. All alcoholic beverages must be consumed in a plastic cup, or plastic wineglass.  The Captain reserves the right to ask a guest to stop drinking if he deems the guest has consumed enough alcoholic beverages. </p>
            <p>Alcohol is permitted on most charters [We do have alcohol free charters], however, those who consume alcohol on any of our charter boats, will be required to wear a life jacket (PFD) while swimming, or engaged in any other water-sport activity. </p>
            <p>All empty containers and trash must be placed in the boats trash receptacle.</p>
            <p>Please do not bring ice chests or coolers aboard the vessel. We provide complimentary ice in our boat coolers.  Please keep carry-on bags to a book bag sized backpack for your personal needs. Towels can be hand carried on to save space in your carry-on bag.</p>
            <p>Please wear boating type clothing and rubber soles shoes. Clothing with sharp objects, jewelry, or other items that could damage the vessel or harm another guest will not be permitted aboard.</p>
            <p>Please be considerate, and help keep our vessels and lake clean by not leaving trash lying about the boat and by not throwing anything overboard.</p>
            <p>Guests should plan on arriving at least 15 minutes prior to their charter time.  We operate on a strict time schedule, and if you are running lake, you can attempt to notify the office. Our Captains will only wait 10 minutes past the scheduled departure time.  If you have not arrived by 10 minutes past your scheduled charter time, then the Captain will consider you a NO Show (See Policies below)</p>
            <p>The Captains and crews work hard to provide you a enjoyable, interesting and safe charter.  Grutities indicate how well you enjoyed our services.</p>

            <p>Due to safety concerns and mostly the cost of insurance, we cannot take children under the age of 7 years of age on any of our charters. </p>
            <p>Safetyis our top concern, Captain Dave's Marine Services takes boating and water sports and your safety very seriously.  We make every effort to ensure you have an enjoyable lake experience.  However, there are risks associated with recreational boating and water sport activities. <u><em>We do not assume liability for personal injuries or deaths.</em></u>  All guests will be required to read and sign a Liability Waiver Form prior to boarding any o our charter boats. To save time at the dock, prior to boarding, we recommend that our guests print out our on line waiver, read and sign and bring with you. Once aboard, the Captain will conduct a short passenger safety briefing that is required by the U.S. Coast Guard.</p>

			<b>Full Refunds</b>: Full refunds are only given of Cap'n Dave's Marine Services or the Charter Captain cancels the entire charter for any reason, or if you cancel 6 or more days prior to your reservation date. If you cancel 5 or less days before your charter date, we will access a 20% cancellation fee.</li>
            <li><b>Partial Refunds</b>: Should a trip become affected by adverse conditions, the Captain can decide to return to the dock, and the guest will receive a partial refund by way of a check mailed to an address of their choice. We calculate the partial refund by taking the price the guest paid for the charter, dividing it by how long the tour was scheduled for, and refunding the remaining unused time rounded down to the nearest half hour.</li>
            <li><b>No Refund</b>: There will not be a refund given of you are a no show. No refund will be given should the Captain refuse to take a guest who has not complied with our rules, exhibits disruptive behavior, appears intoxicated or to be using any illegal drugs, or for any other reason the Captain may deem a reasonable reason.</li></ul></div></div>
